With the Coronavirus now in Indian River County, we, at Treasure Coast Community Health, prepare to combat the spread of the virus. TCCH providers and support staff are on the front lines and are dedicated to protecting the health of this community.

We are certain that the demand for our services, medication, and personal protective equipment (PPE), will increase exponentially.

The cost for unbudgeted and unreimbursed expenses will exceed our ability to cover these additional expenses. TCCH does not have sufficient funds to meet this unexpected and extraordinary need.

To be effective in this crisis, TCCH has immediate funding needs.

The shortage of PPE (masks, gloves, gowns, sanitizer and more) has put our providers at risk. Yet our health care team put themselves in harm’s way every day. We must protect those who are working to keep the COVID-19 virus from spreading. With your support, we can purchase personal protective equipment.

TCCH has many elderly patients who suffer from chronic illness. They are at high risk of serious infection, and many will require services and medication that they cannot afford. TCCH will provide the services and medication at little or no cost depending on the patient’s circumstances. With your generosity, we will be able to provide medical services and medications for many elderly patients.

As restaurants, bars, and businesses close, an overwhelming numbers of Indian River County residents have lose their jobs and their health insurance. We fully expect that TCCH will see more patients who need our services but cannot afford to pay. Your support will help us help so many of our friends and neighbors who will come to rely on us in their time of need.

There is no doubt that our community is at risk. TCCH is on the front lines of protecting the most vulnerable among us as our country comes together to defeat this crisis. Your financial support is critical to our success.
